The 18-hole "Washington" course at the Washington Yacht & Country Club facility in Washington, North Carolina features 6,531 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 70.9 and it has a slope rating of 122. Designed by Gene Hamm/ William. F. Gordon, ASGCA, the Washington golf course opened in 1949. Jeremy Shadle manages the course as the Manager.

The Country Club has a full service restaurant, bar and dining and meeting rooms. The marina has afforadble boat slips available to it's members.

There are a few homes on the golf course in a small neighborhood. They come on the market infrequently and when they do they sell quickly.
